Therapeutic massages for women in Oxfordshire, including during pregnancy and the postnatal period.
Covid-19 Update: After almost 4 months of closure I am delighted to be open again. I have put measures in place and adapted how I conduct my appointments to keep my clients and myself safe during this time. Hygiene is always a high priority for me with frequent hand washing before and after a massage and now I have added in additional steps such as wearing a mask and apron, which are obviously changed between clients. I am also using hand sanitizer and wiping down the table after each massage.
If you have an appointment booked and start feeling unwell or showing symptoms such as a continuous cough, fever or headache it is vital that you contact me immediately to let me know so we can postpone your massage until a time you are feeling well again.
Women tend to be quite good at putting themselves last, we often look after our family and pets, there’s also work and the home and then…. there is no time left for you. We often push through and don’t let aches and pains stop us but this is likely just making things worse and we end up with long term issues and muscle pain.
I think it is time women start putting themselves first for a change. This is why I set up my business to help women of Oxfordshire to look after themselves.
My clients range from young to old. Those who live with pain from old injuries to those with new aches due to work. I specialise in helping pregnant women who are experiencing pain due to their changing bodies and new mums who need a little bit of looking after following the birth of their baby. Some of my clients simply want some relaxation and a little bit of pampering! I also hold baby massage classes for new mums and dads. This is a lovely thing to do with your baby and can be a great bonding experience.
Massage can help if you are experiencing:
- aches and pains (maybe in your back, shoulders, neck..)
- reduced movement due to tight muscles
- pelvic instability or pain during pregnancy
- swelling in arms, hands, feet (often associated in pregnancy)
- leg cramps
- depression/ low mood
- exhaustion following the birth of your baby
This list is obviously not exhaustive and if you are experiencing anything else and wonder if massage might be able to help to get in touch to discuss.
Let me look after you for a change.
