Massage in pregnancy has many benefits, from relieving aches and pains, reducing stress to simply relaxing and revitalising your body which is working hard to provide a safe environment for your unborn baby.

Massage in pregnancy is recommended after the first trimester.
There are times when a massage is not recommended during pregnancy and on occasion you may need to have a chat with your midwife first but we will discuss this prior to your appointment and I will advice what is safe for you and your unborn baby.
I will use cushions and pillows and work with you to find a comfortable position for you so you can relax throughout the appointment. You will lie on your side for the back and leg massage, then sitting, leaning back against the raised end of the massage table for the arms, bump (if you want!), face and scalp massage.
Choose between 30, 60 and 90 minute appointments. I provide home-visits and salon appointments (OX5 1RA), whichever is most convenient for you.
You can choose to have either a full body massage, or that I concentrate the massage on a specific area causing you pain and discomfort. I will tailor your appointment to suit your specific needs and we will discuss these prior to the massage.
